Tom Powell is an outdoor and lifestyle photographer, currently based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. A story teller through and through, Tom was previously the in-house photographer at Icebreaker and has had many travel stories published in books, magazines and online, documenting his own adventures.
Focussing on connection, his work aims to inspire us to live a life outdoors and celebrate the joy that brings. Blending story telling and authentic moments informed by his own experiences. Tom's early stories have always been 100% film based, shooting on a mix of medium format and 35mm point and shoot cameras. Over the past decade bikepacking has become his main focus for personal travel, and now using film as medium to capture these adventures, often alongside video.
