Micah Ling

Micah Ling is a freelance writer and gear reviewer based out of Salida, Colorado, though she spends a lot of time traveling. She enjoys all things outdoors, but especially mountain biking and trail running. In 2025, she spent six months driving around the U.S. and Canada with her partner and dog, visiting the best national parks along the west coast along the way.

Ling has contributed to Outside Magazine, Bicycling Magazine, Runner's World, Esquire, GQ, Escape Collective, Backpacker, and Like the Wind. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Indiana University.
