Danish brand Norse Projects has been a longtime favorite of Field Mag, epitomizing a certain flavor of Scandinavian cool that melds streetwear minimalism and casual gorp. Launching today from the brand is a thirteen-piece capsule collection that marks their second collaboration with Los Angeles-based visual artist Geoff McFetridge.
Regular readers should recall McFetridge’s recent collaborations with ski brands K2 and Goldwin. The realest heads out there might even remember his work appearing in the Winter X Games of 2002!
Leading out the group of apparel and accessories is the GM x NP Mads Back Satin chore jacket. Subtle tonal embroidered artwork can be found on the jacket’s three pockets, while a large graphic print of Geoff’s artwork is saved for the interior for the wearer to enjoy and show off at their own discretion. Covert artwork inclusions are carried across several other pieces, while t-shirts, caps, and totes present it out in the open for all to see.
To field test the capsule, Geoff took to the Volcanic Tablelands of the Eastern Sierra near Bishop, California by bike, brush, and rod to ensure it all vibed to his specifications. We’re stoked to see a shelter from our go-to ultralight camp brand Hyperlite Mountain Gear make an appearance on the bikepacking trip, too.
Shop the collection today and tomorrow go ride your bike into the world like our hero, seen here.
