Dometic knows that not every car camper can swing a full-size, converted Sprinter camper. So, each product in the new Dometic Go line is designed to fit just as perfectly in crossover SUVs and smaller vehicles as they do in custom high-roof, long-wheelbase mega vans (or tiny Japanese 4x4 vans for that matter).
For camp seating options, campers have a choice between the Compact Camp Chair ($150) and Compact Camp Bench ($100). The lightweight aluminum-framed chair and bench fold down to take up minimal space when packed into your trunk and include sacks for easy carrying. Heavy-duty fabric tops each of these pieces' seating surfaces to hold up to 280 pounds on the chair and 300 pounds on the bench.
The bamboo wood-topped Compact Camp Table ($200) serves as a centerpiece at camp for preparing and enjoying meals, or just gathering around. A clever set of adjustable aluminum legs allow the table to be used at three different heights, transforming a dinner table into a coffee table with ease. The 40x25-inch table seats up to four diners comfortably and folds in half once the legs are retracted, hardly making a dent in most mid-size vehicles’ cargo capabilities.
