When it comes to improving on classic designs and traditional styles, nobody does it better than the Japanese, and the Trekking Boot by outdoor outfitter and wander is a shining example of such. Hand stitched by French bootmaker Paraboot, the collaboration hiker strikes a beautiful balance between heritage and contemporary.
Avaialble in two distinct leather colorways, the Trekking Boot features a padded collar and beefed up midsole to make traversing uneven ground (aka going anywhere not paved) more comfortable. And to increase waterproofing, Paraboot's craftsmen used a traditional technique of using pine pitch to seal seems to ensure the hand stitched welt is water tight. (Side Note: these shoe laces are straight fire.)
