Karthika Gupta is a Chicago based travel photographer, freelance journalist, and podcaster with over a decade of experience. Through her storytelling and photography, she aims to bring cultural narratives to the forefront. As an avid adventurer, she also enjoys writing about destinations, brands, and products in the outdoor, lifestyle, and travel space. Ultimately, she is happiest when she is out exploring with her family and her dog. She has written for publications including Vogue, BBC Travel, Robb Report, Condé Nast Traveler, Travel and Leisure, Success, Wanderlust Magazine, Fodors Travel, Click Magazine, Parents, and People. Prior to her career in media, she earned an MBA from University of Chicago and MS in Computer Science at Illinois State University and worked as a program manager for thirteen years.
