Building on the success of their first collaboration from fall of 2015, Woolrich and Westerlind Outdoor—a retailer and private label rooted in technical outdoor and contemporary style—have again teamed up for a capsule collection of apparel and hardgoods aimed at The Modern Outdoorswoman.
Drawing on the incredible natural beauty of Iceland’s North Fjords, the minimalist collection is dominated by muted colors and subtle textures. In total the collection includes two ponchos that can be used as outerwear or a blanket, a wool overshirt available in two muted colorways, and a Westerlind’s signature felt hat with pom pom style accents (made by hand in Iceland). And to top it off, the two brands brought in Snow Peak too, adding the much-loved Japanese outdoor outfitter to the ticket with a range of co-branded items—a folding bamboo Také chair, tote bag, titanium mug, titanium silverware set, and a wool skirt.
As before, each wardrobe essential is made in the USA with wool from Woolrich’s 186-year-old mill. Prices range from $30 on up to $350, but because it’s the holidays and America is deal-crazed, a few key pieces are already on sale, despite launching today, 5 December. So, go nuts.
