In 2014, a group of self-proclaimed fashion industry outsiders came together over a concept: the belief that making products should be purposeful, mindful, functional, and, of course, born of great design.
What became of that concept is The Arrivals, an outerwear and fashion brand based in Brooklyn, New York. With an approach to design that includes mindfulness and meticulous testing, the company has developed collections of simple indoor and outdoor staples that includes everything from puffy jackets to cotton tees.
The Arrivals' most recent drop, called the HAELO Space Pack Series, features a line of unisex insulated jackets, pants, hoodies, and balaclavas, all made from eco-certified fabrics.

The insulated capsule features five Earth-inspired colorways including charcoal, black, matcha, terracotta, and goldenrod. The garments themselves carry a unique feature, too—each can be packed down into an internal, integrated pocket, transforming the jacket, pants, or hoodie into a crossbody bag.
A key component of outwerwear, packability has typically come from the goal of reducing a product's weight and size for serious expeditions. Here, The Arrivals instead fuses packability with a street style functionality, repackaging the concept to improve everyday use.
The Arrivals' take on insulated jackets and pants draws inspiration from other outdoor wear: constructed from 80-gram Primaloft eco-fill and recycled hardware, the garments are water-resistant and made of 100% post-consumer material.
Ever the house for good design, The Arrivals endowed the HAELO hoodie with a cinchable cord for breathability, and envisioned the lightweight HAELO jacket as the perfect layering piece for the current changing seasons. And of course the HAELO pants are fit for indoor lounging as cold weather grocery runs, frigid belays at the local crag, and winter camping.
The collection is now available direct from The Arrivals and is set to ship October 25.
