Tanner Goods x Rancourt & Co. Court Classics

Clean, classic and handmade in Maine using the finest quality materials

As we’ve reported before, Portland’s Tanner Goods is making a solid push into the lifestyle space, with such products as the beautiful Nokori Folding Chair leading the way. Today we see the expanding brand introduce a beautifully crafted shoe collaboration with fellow maker Rancourt & Co., of Lewiston, Maine. Made of handsome and hard-wearing Natural Essex leather from famed Chicago tannery Horween with matching Virbram gum sole, the highly refined Court Classic Mid sneaker does well to epitomize Tanner Goods’ Worth Holding Onto ethos—with only 80 pairs made in total, each and every pair is painstakingly created to take a beating and still hold up for years to come.

Quality of this calibre doesn’t come cheap, but hell, it’s handmade down to the first and last stitch, and still half the price of some overhyped Common Projects. Plus each dollar supports two family-owned American brands fighting the good fight against global fast fashion conglomerates. Just sayin…
