When we first laid our eyes on a pair of Hoka One One sneakers after their launch in 2009, our eyes lit up bright and wide, fixated on the biggest midsoles we’d ever seen. Today, the marshmallow-like footwear brand is making collabs happen left and right with its latest partnership launching today (3/25) in conjunction with bi-coastal retailer Bodega.
To satiate the needs of fashionable hikers, Bodega has picked out the Kaha Low GTX ($225) and Ora Recovery Slide ($60) from Hoka One One’s catalog to paint on their subdued-yet-poppy colorways for the collab.
As the title implies, the Kaha Low GTX features a Gore-Tex liner, making the low-top hiker a solid choice for all-weather hikes. The Māori word “Kaha” translates to strength and support, well represented in the supportive foam midsole and Vibram Megagrip outsole.
Providing contrast to the brown nubuck leather uppers are a set of four different color shoelaces. Pick out the color that suits your style best, or swap ‘em out on the fly.
Recovery slides are an entire type of footwear you probably never knew you needed until you tried on a pair. After putting in miles on the Kaha’s, the Ora Recovery Slides treat wearers to incredible comfort and support, further cementing our trust unrelenting trust in Hoka’s footwear expertise. Like the trail hikers, these slides stick to a subdued, earthy palette with just a single hit of color.
Shop the Bodega x Hoke One One collection directly from Bodega and their Los Angeles and Boston stores today and hit the trails in style and supreme comfort.
