Based in the Green Mountains of Vermont, AJ Powell is an award winning photographer and writer that can most often be found behind a desk waxing poetic on the latest outdoor gear. When he isn’t, he’s out riding his bike or trying to tire out his dog. With over a decade of experience in reviewing gear and photographing adventures, he knows what makes a worthwhile piece of adventure gear.

AJ is also a contributor to Gear Patrol, Men's Journal, The Quality Edit, The Pro's Closet, and The Radavist, and currently works as Associate Director of Activation at KSV Agency. Previously he held the title of Editor and Associate Director at Gear Patrol/Gear Patrol Studios.
