The past few winters in the Northwest have been scarce. As warmer temps and longer summers continue I find myself asking if we will ever see another 1998-1999 season again, the year WA received a record breaking 93 feet of snowfall. Although this year may not be that season, we are off to a much better start than years past, with more pow days than park days logged by the middle of December
Having spent the past two weeks hiking, camping, snowshoeing and splitboarding throughout the Stevens Pass and Mt. Baker areas, there's a real feeling we may soon be reunited with the NW we all know and love so well.
Keep those fingers crossed and the snow dances coming.
