Though perhaps a bit futurisitic for our tastes at times, Isaora has long been a favorite. Their NYC-made apparel and outerwear is defined by strong, distinct styles that hit that sweet spot where form and function are considered equally. All materials are specifically chosen to enhace already interesting and purpose-minded deisgns. Plus, each piece comes with a lifelong garunetee. So, anyway, we'll get to the point: The new 3x1 Sytem Expedition Parka is so badass it's got us excited for winter in NYC—an amazing feat, really.
The 20k waterproof knee length parka is made in Italy with Japanese fabrics and features all the good things one could want—even details the menswear crowd can salivate over—like a fishtail cut, waist removable liner, waterproof YKK zippers, a button storm placket and of course, wind and water resitant PrimaLoft Gold 40g insulation. The digi camo-print liner is down filed for extra warmth, and can be worn on it's own or zipped into the larger parka for a two-in-one dynamic. (Side note: not sure why it's called a 3x1 when it's clearlly 2x1, but I guess it doesn't really matter.)
At $795 the 3x1 System Expedition Parka comes close to costing the same as rent. But hey, here's another great opportunity to make the old "it's an investment" argument. Visit Isaora for further convincing.
